So you’re all booked in, how exciting! Here’s what to expect for your upcoming photoshoot.

After your photoshoot date is set, we will also set a date for your phone consultation. This usually takes place around 2 weeks before your photoshoot. Here I will ask you a few questions based on you, your horse, the location you have chosen, any possible outfits, and the type of photos you want to create. That way we both get an idea of how your shoot will work.

Communication is always open running up to the big day, if you have any questions you can get in touch via Instagram, Facebook, Email, Phone or Text. Please don’t hesitate to message me, I like all my clients feeling relaxed about their upcoming shoot.

The day has arrived! I will message you when I set off and give you an estimated time of arrival. So, what happens when I get there? I will introduce myself and also ask to meet the gorgeous equine model(s) lined up for the next few hours, as of course they are the stars of the show, and we’ll just have a general chit-chat. If you’re feeling nervous or a little awkward, me meeting your horses really helps take the edge off for you.

I’ll then ask for you to show me all possible locations for your photoshoot, and any that you had in mind. That way I get to look at every possible spot for photos myself, and even some that you possibly wouldn’t have thought of!

After we’ve had a good look around I’ll ask you to show me your outfit choices and other possible options. I do recommend having more than one outfit, that way we can capture a variety of images. Outfits do depend on the locations we choose for the shoot, I like to pair outfits with the space available to us but this is just my opinion. Please remember that this is your photoshoot, so whatever you say we will make work!

And then the fun part begins! We will head to our first location, and the photoshoot will unravel from there with different locations, different outfits, and breaks for the horses here and there.

Once we’re all done, we’ll chat about how long you can expect to wait for your images and any questions you may have. Say our final goodbyes to one another and then I’ll head home. I’ll edit your images (I can’t wait to have a look at them!) and then I will upload them to your online gallery where they are available for us to have a chat about your favourite images and for you to choose other products you are looking to get. I offer a variety of different prints, wall art, etc. for you to treasure forever.
